My journey into massage therapy comes from a lifelong intrigue with the mind-body connection.

From a young age I was searching for how to connect what I was feeling into a deeper connection to myself. Through somatic healing touch, for me that was massage therapy, and a more regulated nervous system, doors opened for me to search deeper into myself. The journey into myself felt monumental, as I was navigating through grief from my childhood and life changes. The emotions I was pushing away or covering up by staying busy were not going away on their own. I had to feel them to heal them. Trauma lives in the tissues.

Everything is connected, including mind, body and spirit.

As an avid lover of the outdoors and having spent time challenging myself through running, backpacking, camping and living a more organic lifestyle, I have gained wisdom through my body and mind in working through hard situations, ultimately understanding that these experiences help connect me to my body. Healing touch has added an immense amount of connection to my body in a more emotional way, as well as physical, as it’s all connected. All of these factors have helped shape me into a more whole human. In 2022 I decided to go back to school and get my Massage Therapy license. I completed the program and became licensed in the fall of 2022 when I launched out into the world of massage therapy as a Licensed massage Therapist. One of the BEST decisions I have ever made.

Every body is welcome.

In my almost 3 year career as an LMT, I have worked in a spa setting, in a chiropractic office and with physical therapists, before setting out on my own, creating Rooted Elements Massage Therapy, LLC. In my journey in life and in massage therapy I have been looking for a place to set down my roots. My experience has needed an array of the different elements of life and earth to create a sense of contentment. I am most at peace in nature where I feel most alive, solo is great, but with those whom I love is my first choice, ideally a balance. Through these felt experiences I created Rooted Elements. My goal is to have that felt sense of grounding and peace be exuded to you through your massage therapy sessions.

I welcome and encourage LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC individuals to my practice. We are all human and I welcome every body to come as they are to experience a safe space to connect to yourself.
